The Southern California Scholarship Association is a nonprofit organization completely staffed by volunteers. There is no paid staff. Volunteers produce the annual pageant, organize all fundraising activities, and help prepare our titleholders for the Miss California pageant. All volunteers are welcome, whether you want to commit several hours of your time, or just an hour or two on the day of the pageant. Prior to the pageant, volunteers are needed in such areas as community outreach, public relations and fund raising. On pageant day, volunteers may assist with ticket and program sales, a fundraising raffle, backstage activities, the post-pageant reception and assisting the judges and contestants.
